Our story

We started Pathway Vendors because we know how impactful a great event can be for a small business.

Founded in 2022 by John and Lindsay Hill. Purpose: help small businesses grow and thrive through in-person events and experiences.

How it started

Four years on the road. More than 100 events. Then we took everything we loved about each one and built a festival of our own.

Before Pathway Vendors, we spent four years traveling the country as vendors — over a hundred events, on the other side of the table. We learned first-hand that a vendor's success comes down to one thing: how many quality customers walk through the door.

In 2022 we produced the first DMV Chocolate & Coffee Festival with that lesson as the whole plan. Pack the house with heavy, targeted advertising. Curate the floor. Sweat the details that make a weekend worth the drive, the hotel and the inventory.

It worked, and it kept working: Pennsylvania followed in 2024, Jacksonville debuts in 2026, and the Carolinas are next.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”

— Proverbs 16:3 (ESV)

What we believe

Five values that guide our business.

Serve others

Vendors, guests, venues and partners — we measure a weekend by how well we looked after all of them.

Innovate and create

We build on what works and explore new ideas to make each event better than the last.

Quality

Juried floors, professional venues and attention to the details that make a festival worth the drive.

Integrity

We say what we'll do and do what we say — with our vendors, our guests and our partners. Real numbers, honest expectations, no surprises.

Build relationships

Many of our vendors have been with us since the first year. That's the result we're proudest of.

How we work

Our process is about YOU.

Every event has problems. What matters is what happens next. This is the standard we hold ourselves to with every vendor and every guest — and if and when we fall short, please let us know so we can do our best to make it right for you.
